Buttons are $10 in advance, $15 at "door". Children 11 & under are free.

Wondering What to Wear to the Saturday Night Event??

An inquiry from a classmate that we'll call "matt"

Hey - i was thinking of packing my black parachute pants, my black and white vansand a pretty ugly shirt to wear to the reunion when my wife pointed out that while I might of thought such an outfit was appropriate to wear tohigh school back in the eighties, it certaintly wasn't appropriate to wear to the reunion . So, I was scratching my head trying to figure out what i should pack for Saturday night. )I figured black tie probably wasn't quite right either. Any suggestionson appropriate dress code? I figured decent pants and a sports coat would probaly do the trick. Don't think I can do the tie, though. Thoughts?

Greetings Matt!

I don't fit into my parachute pants any more and believe me, I tried. It wasn't pretty. They don't carry parachute pants in my size at Wal Mart.

So I'm settling for a comfortable, but not too dressy dress. You could opt for khakis/polo. A sport coat would be A-OK, too.

But maybe I'll find an old sequined glove somewhere.


For Friday: wear what you'd wear to a bar- because that is where we'll be. If it's hot, wear shorts, etc. but bring a sweatshirt/sweater- we'll be on the patio. I say this from experience.

For Saturday: "dressy casual" can mean pretty much what you want. Matt, you will be trend setters for the fellas (obviously!). For the ladies...I guess you have to fill in the blanks for yourself. I know what I'm wearing :)
